Christmas Day

So Emily and I, in all honesty, have taken over 600 pictures of the girls so far this week. In order to share as many of those as possible she was kind enough to make some collages, and then, I stole them...just like I did the other posts. Yes, that's right, I confess. I have stolen the previous posts from Emily and then just changed the wording (and maybe the dates) and I'm doing it again today. In my defense I shall use the excuse that we did not bring a computer with us here to Texas, but in truth I am probably just lazy. I promise that any posts that come after this one are in deed my own.
There it is...The Confession...Now on to what you all really want to see...

Christmas morning in their jammies!

These are the matching hats we got for the girls. Marley also got Rhys one to match her own in Texas colors (although his doesn't have a flower).

Christmas Fun
I LOVED making this bow! Doesn't she look like a present???

And aren't these handmade Tutus from Auntie Em just Tutu CUTE?!

This group photo session didn't go very smoothly.

More fun times!

And these are the best...I took the one of her facing out and Emily went outside to get the shot looking in...pretty cool effect huh?! She was watching the boys play basketball.

So that was Christmas in a nutshell...I will post more pictures when we get home...because there are still dozens that need to be shared.

Fancy Dresses

So, as previously posted the girls have spent lots of time in matching or coordinating outfits, hanging out with family, and doing lots of baking.
Tonight the girls got Fancy in their Christmas dresses. Aunt Emily also bought the girls matching bracelets (which you can't really see) that went perfect with their outfits! Check out the pics!

Cousin Jaelynn and Uncle John

Marley and her Daddy

Kaley and GiGi

Here are the girls opening the traditional one present on Christmas Eve. (Forgive the way Brett and I look, we were in the throws of making dinner...)
Kaley got a doll house (that Marley loved and I think we may end up getting her one...)

Marley got a tunnel, which kinda freaked her out at first I think but now she LOVES!

Jaelynn got some stuffed animals, which both Kaley and Marley zoned in on immediately!

And this is probably one of the best pictures of the girls yet!
Sisters Enjoy! More to come later...and maybe eventually a confession...

Fun, Fun, Fun

We are really enjoying the time we've been spending with family! The girls are getting along swimmingly and we are baking and cooking up a storm. There is a lot of gourmet eating going on. One of Brett's favorite Christmas pastimes is making Potica with GiGi. This year he was super excited to include Kaley and Marley in the tradition. Previously posted were pictures of Brett, GiGi and Marley making the dough and here is Uncle Brett teaching Kaley all about making Potica.

Gigi, Kaley and Uncle Brett rolling out the Potica dough. I think there was quite a bit of flour that ended up on the floor as well as the table :)

Jaelynn having some floor time in her cute jammies! (Emily confessed later that she was in fact crying in this picture but who cares...it's too cute!

Kaley watching Finding Nemo in her jammies!

Marley playing in her jammies.

The Party Is Over Here...In Granny and Pop's Bed!

Cousin Jaelynn sleeping with Granny. We do have matching Christmas dresses for the girls...more on that later. I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas Eve, we're off to open one present, and a very MERRY CHRISTMAS tomorrow. I promise to be better about the posting...maybe...

Fanciful Flowers

So here is an almost matching outfit. Auntie Em forgot cousin Jaelynn's black leggins' so she had to wear the ones her outfit came with. This outfit happened by chance, it just so happened that Marley and Kaley already had it, plus a few others that won't be debuted this week, and then I was walking through Kohl's and found the "baby" version of it. (I say baby because Marley's is a little big, the smallest it goes in the version Marley and Kaley are wearing is 12 months.) Anyhow it all worked out and here is our attempt at taking pictures of all 3 girls. It is definitely more difficult to get a good picture of all three girls than it was to get a good picture of just the two girls back in May. We are doing our best but I can't make any promises!

Hmmm...Do you think they look happy?

Now here are some darling ones of Kaley and Marley. Kaley isn't alway so quick to want to share her toys and Marley is quick to grab things from Kaley (especially the coveted Elmo) but they are playing very well together! Giving sweet kisses

Granny and Pop have a little picnic table set up in the kitchen for the girls. Here they are having some cousin color time! Kaley was so sweet to share some paper and her crayons with her cousin
Look at Kaley working so hard. I wish some of my students would hold a crayon (or any writing utensil for that matter) so well!Even though this picture may not depict it accurately, these girls are just smitten with their Uncle Lee!

This picture is titled: "Thou Shall Not Covet Thy Cousin's Snacks"
Marley: "I want some of what Kaley has."
Kaley: "Aunt Bethany are you sure she can't have some goldfish?"

Marley taking steps! Did you see the video Auntie Em posted? If not check it out!

Happy girl riding the tricycle. Maybe mommy and daddy, who haven't really done any Christmas shopping for the girl, should check into getting one of these...

Brett's best friend from childhood, Jared, and his family came over.
Marley is just over a month older than Rhys and this was the first meeting.
Neither one is usually this shy, but here they are clinging to their daddies for dear life! (Don't you think it's kind of funny how Brett and Jared dressed similarly? After all these years...)

Rhys in one of his Christmas presents from Marley.
Isn't he just too cute! Look at those eyes and those cheeks!!

Just hangin' out!
I was wondering how Little Miss might do with all the mommy holding other babies time, but so far so good! There are definitely times when all she wants is Mommy, and that makes mommy feel good of course, but she is tolerating me playing with others quite well :) Check back, tomorrow's outfit is just too cute!
