Matching outfit #4 was courtesy of me and you'll see I chose orange...not burnt orange...but orange none the less. I'm sure this is the closest Kaley will ever come to wearing UT colors :)

The girls and their Mommies...yes my child looks like "Krusty the Clown" with her hair...it was at the end of the day...give her a break! Kaley playing "mommy" to cousin Marley, giving her her paci because she was sad. She's such a big help! She also throws the dirty diapers in the trash for us!

I just know everyone is dying to see matching outfit number 3 but unfortunately I won't be able to post any of the cutie patootie pictures due to technical difficulties. It seems our computer has decided, that while it will turn on, it only wants to blink a cursor at me instead of load my desktop. With that said I'm posting from my Blackberry (because I didn't want anyone to think I forgot) and I haven't figured out how, or if I even can, load pictures from here. I will post the pictures AS SOON as I am able because they are just too cute to miss. In the meantime I think Emily was able to post so you can visit her blog by clicking the link to the right. It's the one titled "Cherish Every Moment with the Vasels" Trust me...I'm just as bummed as y'all are!

On another note, Marley had adoc appt. Today and weighed in at 11 lbs. 15 oz. But was only 23.5 in.long. I say "only" because I expected her to be longer...but she's growing none the less and that's a good thing! They didn't give us percentages today for some reason but I'll post those too when I figure them out.

Hopefully pics of matching outfits 3 AND 4 tomorrow (cause I'm really hoping Marley's Uncle John will know a quick fix to our computer woes!)

Ladies in Red

Matching outfit number two...courtesy of Auntie Em. Emily and John said the photo shoot didn't go as well today but I thought the pictures came out cute. (I was at work...BLAH!) Anyhow, here are your ladies in red...

They sat Marley in the Bumbo today...I think it was a great idea... Apparently, Marley didn't think so... This is Marley's impression of Rosie... Gettin' some love from Cousin Kaley...it seems to have done the trick and calmed her down... And this evening...Kaley holding Baby Marley...TOO CUTE!
More to come tomorrow...I think they will match again...there's only one day (unless Em and I go shopping, which would be like pulling teeth I'm sure) that they won't.

I do also have a ton of other pics that Em and John have been taking but I'll save all of those for a later post! Enjoy :)

Matching Outfit No.1: A Comedy of Errors

Kaley and Marley in matching outfit number one. It didn't last very long for Little Miss because right before Auntie Em, Uncle John and Kaley came over Daddy was feeding Marley a bottle and it leaked all down the front of the shirt and the pants. So after we were able to get the photo shoot completed I changed her into a coordinating outfit from the same line and then when Auntie Em was changing her diaper she peed all over the shirt...so we are now on the last shirt from the same line so at least they coordinate...if something happens to this one it's all over.

Thankful Thursday

Tomorrow marks the end of my second week back to school (this would be why I'm lacking in the blog post department) and I feel very lucky to have such a wonderful family. Last week, before leaving for Arizona for 2 weeks to watch our nephew, Evan, my mom (aka Fancy) was here to watch Marley for my first week back. Then this week Marley's Great-Aunt Chris drove all the way down from New York to watch her for my 2nd week back! We are very, very blessed that we have so many people that love us and want to spend time with Marley. A HUGE thank you goes out to Fancy and Great-Aunt Chris for everything you've done for me, Brett and of course Marley. Tomorrow Aunt Sarah gets to embark on a day with Little Miss...what an adventure!

Marley continues to sprout up! She's getting longer and longer everyday but I don't think she's a whole lot heavier than 11-11.5 lbs. Definitely long and lean! She's starting to grow out of some of her 0-3 month clothes because she is so long. They are big in the torso but some onesies we can't even snap anymore! She's also starting to stay awake longer during the day and play a lot more. Lately she's been desperate to get ahold of her feet. Just this morning she was propped against pillows in my bed and she started reaching so far that she knocked herself off balance and fell sideways. She's also pulling her upper body up when laying on her back...almost like she's trying to sit up. It definitely makes diaper changing a bit more difficult and she's also started to roll over from her back to her stomach in addition to stomach to back. There's not a whole lot more going on right now. Mommy and Marley are just counting down the days until school's out for summer!

We've got a big week coming up! On Sunday Auntie Em, Uncle John and Cousin Kaley fly in from Dallas to watch Marley for the week! Since it's the holiday weekend we plan to go to the National Zoo on Monday, hopefully the weather will cooperate! Then on Wednesday Marley has her 2 month well-baby check. I'm sure we'll have more news to share towards the end of next week!

A special prayer goes out to my friend Adrienne and her family who are due to welcome their little Bennett tomorrow! We're thinking of you and hoping that all goes well.
